SFAS Updates
Greetings SFI! I have a few fun updates from the SFAS! One – I would like to congratulate the STARFLEET Corps of Engineers (SFCoE) as I hereby declare they have achieved the “Established” status. Her the newly approved (and soon to be published) MHB:
“Established Auxiliary Service – A Provisional Auxiliary Service may reach this status if they have achieved a number of its goals and milestones and proven the viability of the service, whereupon, the DAS will move them to Established Service status. In this status they are refining the service, documentation, and other items needed before the DAS can recommend them to the AB for Permanent Status. The DAS will report to the EC/AB about each Established Services’ progress.
Once in the Established Service status, provided they do not currently hold a higher rank at the time, the Director/Chief of their respective Established Service shall be promoted to the grade of O-6.“
Which leads to my second announcement:
Lieutenant Commander Stephen Hebbend-Bach, as your post of Chief of Engineers, SFCoE is now that of a Director of an Established Auxiliary Service, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Captain (O-6), effective immediately. Congratulations!!!!
Third announcement!
With the growth, and success in the role as the temporary Deputy Director of STARFLEET Intelligence (SFIN), Commander Ben Thomas, You are being permanently assigned to that post. As your current rank exceeds the minimum for a Deputy director of a Provisional Service, no change in rank at this time. Keep doing great things!
Fourth announcement! With lessons learned over the past several months, the role of Deputy Director of STARFLEET Auxiliary Services is hereby dissolved. The role of Chief of Staff, STARFLEET Auxiliary Services will take its place, with a more refined set of duties and relationship with the various Service Directors. The post will be placed on the SFI HR site (https://sfi.org/humanoidresources/) for volunteers to apply.
I am appointing General Mark Anderson as the interim SFAS CoS until that process is completed.
Thank you all!
